The beneficiaries of the MAMATA Scheme (Both Pregnant and lactating mother) were supposed to get Rs. 5000/- in four installments as support amount for taking care of their health. Unfortunately, a large number of beneficiaries of this scheme were not able to get their entitlements. With looking to the importance of the problem Radio Namaskar broadcast a live programme on radio with involving Govt. officials and beneficiaries. Radio Namaskar also broadcast some case studies of the eligible beneficiaries. The evidence-based documents and radio programme impacted tremendously and it forced the officials to sanction all the dues of those particular beneficiaries. With congratulating to Radio Namaskar team District Social Welfare Officer, Puri also sanctioned the delayed amount of more than 5000 beneficiaries. Now the beneficiaries of MAMATA scheme thanked to Radio Namaskar team for helping them to get their entitlements.
